Open X Canada Website
The OpenX cutter has a patented design that allows the user to open plastic packaging with ease.

Global Source Marketing, a Canadian marketing firm, had just purchased the distribution rights for OpenX in Canada. Lucie Devar from Globalsource approached Brad Johnson Creative in late 2006 to create an online presence for the OpenX cutter and associated products in Canada.
The new OpenX Canada website was to mirror much of the content from the US counterpart, but our client wanted the look to be clean and uncluttered, with a modern design.
To keep costs down, the client wished to use a paypal storefront to expedite the ecommerce portion of the website. However, the paypal storefront does not allow for extensive customizations on shipping rates for different provinces. This was a key component for Globalsource's storefront as the OpenX products themselves are sold at such a competitive rate, and shipping costs between province to province vary extensively. A set shipping cost was out of the question.
After some research, we recommended that Globalsource work with Clic.net for the ecommerce portion of their storefront. Clic.net partners with Canada Post to add specific functionality for shipping and works with Paypal for payment processing.
After constructing the OpenX website in both French and English, we linked up the product sections to the clic.net store. The result is a clean and effective website, with fully functioning ecommerce storefront.
